At the Restaurant (Sa Restawran o Karenderia)

Cisco is at the restaurant and Angel, the waitress is taking his order.

Angel: Maayung gabii! Unsa'y imong ganahan orderon Sir?
Cisco:Naa mo'y adobong baboy?
Angel: Oo, tag singkwenta ang isa ka order.
Cisco: Sige, isa ka order nga adobong baboy og kan-on pod isa.
Angel: Unsa'y imong imnon?
Cisco: Naa mo'y Coke?
Angel: Naa, unsa imoha usa ka litro?
Cisco: Unsa? kadako ana oy, tunga sa litro lang.
Angel: Wala man mi tunga sa litro Sir. Tubig na lang.
Cisco: Sige basta bugnaw ha.
Angel: Oo, bugnaw kaayu, butangan nako og daghan ays.
Cisco: Maayu na.Pila ka oras maluto?
Angel: Dali ra Sir, mga kinse minutos luto na.
Cisco: Sige kay gigutom nako.
Angel: Oo. Paabota lang kadali Sir.



Translation

Angel: Maayung gabii! Unsa'y imong ganahan orderon Sir?
( Good evening! What would you like to order Sir?)
Cisco:Naa mo'y adobong baboy?
(Do you have seasoned pork?)
Angel: Oo, tag singkwenta ang isa ka order.
(Yes, 50 pesos each order)
Cisco: Sige, isa ka order nga adobong baboy og kan-on isa.
(Okay, one order of seasoned pork and one rice)
Angel: Unsa'y imong imnon?
(What would you like to drink)
Cisco: Naa mo'y Coke?
(Do you have coke?)
Angel: Naa, unsa imoha usa ka litro?
(Yes we have, would you like 1 liter?)
Cisco: Unsa? kadako ana oy, tunga sa litro lang.
(What? that's too big, just half a liter)
Angel: Wala man mi tunga sa litro Sir. Tubig na lang.
(We don't have half a liter. Would you like water instead?)
Cisco: Sige basta bugnaw ha.
(Okay, as long as it is cold)
Angel: Oo, bugnaw kaayu, butangan nako og daghan ays.
(Yes, very cold, I will add a lot of ice)
Cisco: Maayu na. Pila ka oras maluto?
(That's good. How many hours will it take to cook?)
Angel: Dali ra Sir, mga kinse minutos luto na.
(It won't take long Sir, about 15 minutes it's already cooked)
Cisco: Sige kay gigutom nako. 
 (Okay because I'm hungry now)
Angel: Oo. Paabota lang kadali Sir.
(Yes, just wait for a few minutes Sir)

Cisco is at the store to buy a packet of coffee while sales clerk Angelita is assisting him.


Cisco:   Maayung Buntag!
Angel:  Maauyung Buntag pod. Unsa'y ato?
Cisco:  Naa moy kape?
Angel:  Naa.
Cisco:  Tagpila ang pakete?
Angel:  Tag singko ang isa.
Cisco:  Hatagi ko og isa palihog. (Palit ko og isa palihog)
Angel:  Oo, pila imong kwarta?
Cisco:  Byante pesos.
Angel:  Sige kinse imong sukli, salamat.
Cisco:  Salamat.



Translation:
Cisco: Maayung Buntag! 
(Good Morning!)
Angel: Maauyung Buntag pod. Unsa'y ato? (unsa may ato)
(Good Morning! response "pod" means too, also)
(What do you need or want?)
Cisco: Naa moy kape?
(Do you have coffee?)
Angelita: Naa.

Tagpila ang pakete?
(How much is a packet?)
Tag singko ang isa.
Five pesos each. ("tag" use for price: tag + amount)
Cisco: Hatagi ko og isa palihog. (palit ko og isa palihog)
(Give me one packet please) (I will buy 1 please)
 Angel: Oo, pila imong kwarta?
(Sure, how much is your money?)
Cisco:  Byante pesos.
(Twenty pesos)
Angel:  Sige kinse imong sukli, salamat.
(Okay, your change is 15, thanks.)
Cisco:  Salamat.
